Sam, together with Shawn collaborated to form Twist The Shaft in 2008. A DJ by profession, Sam had opportunity over the years to learn many genres of music to satisfy any age group or audience. Her musical influences ranged from Streetheart to Aerosmith, from Lee Aaron to Pink, from Burton Cummings (Sams Idol) to Queen, from Blue Oyster Cult to Nickelback, from Creed to Toronto and many more. Sams early start sharing the stage with a killer cover band began in the 80’s when she got to know the Brothers Wilton out of Edmonton. They pumped the love of performing and of being on the stage into her blood. Her vocal ability ranges from raw and sultry to hard edge rock. Sam’s goal in life is to kick everyones ass on Rock n Roll Jeopardy.
